The Area: The advertising sales and conference business is responsible for growing revenues by selling advertisement space on Morningstar European websites that deliver news, analysis, data, and research to help investors make better decisions, as well as sponsorships for our increasing range of conferences and events. Our websites, conferences and events attract high-net-worth retail investors, C-Suite executives, business decision makers, financial advisers, institutional investors and financial professionals.

The Role: The Account Manager will present the benefits of advertising and conferences with Morningstar to new and existing clients in the Spanish market. This is a sales role focused on results, closing business, and building a pipeline of potential business from existing and new clients. This person must deliver the highest level of service by continuously improving knowledge of each client`s needs, company, and industry. The Account Manager will report to the Audience Communication Director and to the Iberian Country Manager. This position is based in our Madrid office and is available immediately.

Responsibilities
+ Achieve and exceed individual targets, while assisting in achieving group targets and business goals.
+ Present the benefits of the Morningstar online audience.
+ Manage and deliver campaigns for existing clients.
+ Generate and manage sales to new clients.
+ Understand the content, presentation, and development of the Morningstar websites.
+ Monitor the position of competitors.
+ Acquire proficiency and develop excellence in the use of all service delivery systems.
+ Adhere to all internal procedures and business requirements.
+ Support and assist the existing advertising sales team.
+ Provide accurate and timely reporting of activities and results.

Requirements
+ A graduate with excellent academic credentials.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Able to solve problems creatively with available resources.
+ Familiarity with productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
+ Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
+ Organized and logical but with the ability to adapt.
+ Excellent teamwork skills.
+ Goal-oriented with a willingness and ability to exceed targets.
+ Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Fluency in Portuguese would be an advantage.
+ Basic knowledge of financial and investment products.
+ Adaptable, personable, and determined.
